| Apple Squeeze |

First Sunday in October, from 10am-4pm |
| Description |
All may enjoy the sweet aroma and taste of fresh squeezed apple juice and many other apple food items. Again on Lafayette Street, vendors will be offering their wares and food items. This event is produced by the Steilacoom Historical Museum Association. |

| Description |
Each year Pioneer Park features a series of free, public concerts. This event is sponsored by Pierce County Arts Commission, The Town of Steilacoom, Community 1st Credit Union and Jakes. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. For more information, call 581-1076. |

| Description |
Lafayette Street becomes the center of the annual old-fashioned,
hometown Independence Day Parade and Street Fair sponsored
by the Steilacoom Chamber of Commerce. Kiosks of craft items
and patriotic displays line the street while music can be
heard from the bandstand in front of the Post Office. There
is a street dance in the evening. Around 10:30 p.m., one
of the best pyrotechnical displays in the area takes place
over Puget Sound. |

| Description |
Sunnyside Beach Park finds the Steilacoom Historical Museum Association members cooking up a storm grilling salmon basted in Col. Don's secret sauce. Shuttle buses will operate that afternoon from downtown Steilacoom (in front of the Tennis Court on Lafayette Street). It’s only rained once during the past 30+ years’ bakes—last year. |
